Group allocation
To find out the effect of the Active Women over 50 program, all participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups:
Intervention group
or
Control group
You will be allocated randomly after some evaluation measures are completed.
Since this is a research study you will not be able to choose which group you are allocated to.​​​
Intervention group
If you are allocated to the intervention group, you will receive immediate access to the 6-month Active Women over 50 program. You will receive a handbook that outlines the Active Women over 50 program and you will be asked to complete the evaluation measures.

Control group
If you are allocated to the control group you will be waitlisted to receive the Active Women over 50 program after a six-month delay, and after all evaluation measures have been completed. ​
